What can Pomnie help me do?

Pomnie helps busy parents like you stop stressing about your to-do list and start enjoying family time again. It is an AI assistant that learns about your family by reading incoming emails from school, sports and activities, gobbles up information from PDFs and school flyers and can even remember things from your school website. Then Pomnie alerts parents & caregivers via text, creates a to-do list for you, and can answer your questions. You can chat with your Pomnie anytime via text and ask it anything from “what’s for lunch tomorrow?” to “when is that zoo field trip?”

How do I get Pomnie?

Use the links in the bottom of our website download the Pomnie app in the Apple app store (Android coming soon). The app will walk you through the signup and set up process.

How can I teach my Pomnie to learn about things not included in my email?

You can snap photos of flyers, printed materials or upload digital documents to Pomnie via your app. Pomnie will scan this information and can answer your questions in the future. Great examples include lunch menus, sports schedules and handouts from teachers. 

How does Pomnie ready my email?

Pomnie integrates directly with Gmail. The app will walk you through connecting your account in just a few clicks.

Pomnie will identify which emails are from school, sports or kids activities. You can make sure these are right for your family.

Then, once email is connected, Pomnie will act as your parenting personal assistant, monitoring for incoming messages and keeping everything organized. 

What kind of AI does Pomnie use?

Pomnie uses a purpose-built LLM engine to parse your email and answer questions about the information you share with it. Pomnie doesn’t search the internet for answers or use information from other Pomnie users. It’s built just for you, with security and privacy in mind.

When Pomnie sees an important email, what does it do?

When Pomnie detects a new email message it will do the following things to help keep your family organized:

  • Scans for to-dos and event dates

  • Sends you a text with those to-dos and calendar invites for event dates

  • Updates your to-do list in the Pomnie app

  • Remembers all the information in the email (including the boring details) so Pomnie can answer your questions later
