Introduction

Welcome to Pomnie, a web application designed to help parents manage school communications efficiently by summarizing school emails and other content and generating actionable to-do lists and reminders (the “App”). By downloading, accessing or using the App, you (“User,” “you,” or “your”) agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (“Terms”). Please read them carefully before using any part of the App. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the App.

Eligibility

The App is a productivity tool designed for parents, guardians, or authorized caregivers of school-aged children who wish to organize and streamline school-related communications. By using the App, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old or otherwise have legal authority to consent to these Terms and provide information related to your children’s school communications.

The App is not directed at children under 13. Use by children under 13 is prohibited under the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”).

You may be required to register for an account to use certain features of the App. During registration, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information about yourself as prompted by the registration form.

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and all activities that occur under your account.

• You agree to notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account or any breach of security.

Your privacy is important to us. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details regarding how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information and the contents of your school messages.

• By using the App, you consent to the collection and processing of your personal information as described in the Privacy Policy.

• We will not share, sell, or disclose your email contents or personal information except as required by law or as expressly authorized by you.

All content, trademarks, software, and technology provided by the App, including but not limited to code, design, text, graphics, logos, summaries, to-do lists, reminders, and related content are the intellectual property of the App provider or its licensors.

• You may use the App and its output for personal, non-commercial purposes only.

• You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any part of the App or its output without explicit written permission.

• We welcome your feedback and suggestions regarding the App (collectively, “Submissions”). By submitting your Submissions, you agree to assign, and hereby irrevocably assign to us, without compensation, all right, title, and interest in and to the Submissions and all copyrights, moral rights, and other intellectual property rights embodied in such Submissions on a worldwide basis.

The App may integrate with third-party email providers, school websites and portals, or other services (collectively, “Third-Party Services”) to access relevant communications.

• Your use of Third-Party Services is subject to their respective terms and policies. We are not responsible for the content, reliability, or security of Third-Party Services.

• You grant us permission to access and process your school-related emails and other content solely for the purpose of providing the App.

You must not use the App to infringe on the rights of others, harass, abuse, transmit harmful content, or engage in illegal activities.

• You must not attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App, interfere with its operation, or compromise its security.

• You must not attempt to reverse engineer or tamper with the App’s code.

• You must not take any action that imposes an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on the App’s infrastructure.

• You must not use automated tools or bots to access the App except as expressly permitted.

• You must not impersonate others or misrepresent your identity.

• You must not access or attempt to access the data of other Users.

Violation of these rules may result in suspension or termination of your access to the App.

• We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to the App or notifying you through your registered contact information.

• Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms.

• We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, for any reason, including but not limited to violation of these Terms.

• You may terminate your account at any time by following the instructions on the App.

• Upon termination, your access to the App will cease, and we may delete your account information and any data associated with your use.
